Working With A Wifi Printer
Working at home with one computer and one printer is easy but an office which has multiple computers makes it harder as you may have to share one printer with many computers. Of course it’s possible to share a printer with many computers by using Windows built in networking tool however, you will have to leave the host PC on to allow the other computers to access the printer. With rapid advancements in modern technology it is now possible to share one printer with multiple computers without having it physically connected to them. This is possible with printers that have integrated Wifi capabilities which allow devices to connect with the printer as long as it is installed with the same wireless network that your device is using.
The reason why the Wifi printer is so much better than a traditional printer is because the latter requires the host PC to be left on as the receiving and translation of the commands is done by the computer that is connected to the printer. In case of the Wifi Printers, they have a built in wireless print server that allows the printer and the PC to communicate over your Wifi network. This eliminates the need for any wired connection between the printer and the computer. It is also possible to change an existing printer to act like a wireless one by adding wireless connectivity to it, that is, by simply attaching a wireless print server to your printer. Regardless of whether the wireless connectivity is embedded or external, that printer can be located within the range of your Wifi network without a wired connection to your computer or your router. Wifi Printers thus, add efficiency to your work by utilizing minimum space and energy. Give one a try and see for yourself, you won’t be disappointed!
