One of the first things that people will typically notice when walking into a home is the television set. This will depend on the type of home and how it’s laid out of course but either way, even if it’s not visible upon first stepping foot into the house, it will sooner or later be. For this reason, you will want to choose a TV that actually looks decent. Now, choosing TV is just the first step. The next step is to figure out how you are going to best display it in your room. The way you display your TV will largely depend on the size of your room as well as the size and type of TV that you have. If you have a 19 inch HD TV for example, probably the easiest thing to do is to just place it on a stand or on a table even. If you have a much larger screen TV, then you can have the option of mounting it on the wall as well. So between placing the television on stands, on a table or entertainment center, and mounting it, which one is better? For the most part, in terms of looks, mounting the TV will probably have the best appeal. Your home will look a bit more modernized and if you do the wiring correctly, your floors will look clean and organized as well.

If you do decide to mount your TV, then you will want to make sure you have the right kind. Not all televisions are mountable. From there, you will want to plan out how you are going to cover up the wires. Most people will do this by hiding the wires behind the wall. If you decide to use a stand or some other surface, you can usually just hide the wires behind the TV itself. So whether you get a 19 inch LCD  TV, or any other kind of TV, make sure you plan on how you are going to display it as well and buy the TV according to what will look best in your home.
