Being gainfully employed and having deep pockets I can buy any audio device I want, well at least within reason. Yet, I chose the affordable Nano even though there are many other more expensive devices available that have even more storage capacity and functionality.

But, I like the small size and simple design of the Nano. This player may not have the largest flash memory available, but 8 GB is plenty for me. Plus this small device is packed with features and it is easy to use, setup, and charge. The sound quality is not bad either.

I love the different color options and the shiny polished aluminum finish. The new one even has a video camera and an fm radio with a DVR like feature for pausing live music.
It is also possible to tag songs so that the song information will be available later in case one wishes to purchase it.

The new built in video camera also records sound and comes with different visual effects we can apply to our work. The new Nano also has a built in pedometer to keep track of our steps. But what I like most are the basic Nano functions. It still has the cover flow feature, and easy to create playlists.

There is a shuffle function, and you can easily download music and podcasts, put them in organized playlists, and listen to them on the go at work or wherever. Even though the Apple iPod Nano was only rated number 4 on the Top 10 Mp3 Players list. It is my player of choice.

I use it at work. Why waste my time doing mundane tasks when I can be learning a foreign language at the same time? I have a car adapter and use it on trips and those high traffic commutes. While other folks are fuming in traffic, I am listening to an audio book, or a self improvement podcast. The Nano is an all around great device and it plays music too.
